The leadership, parents, and dancers of Elite Forum Squad, Forum Squad, and Jr. Forum Squads Red & Black are a team. Together we will work to establish boundaries, ensure morale, provide for the development of these young people as dancers and future adults, promote team pride and secure the benefits of our hard work for ourselves and all future squad members.

Leadership

Artistic Director - Wesley "Wesside" Owens will be guiding all levels of Squad through their hip hop journey this season. His goal is always to provide exciting choreography, team building, and guide dancers through the challenges.

Assistant Director - Amanda Anderson will also be there to support all aspects of Squad whether it be rehearsing, fine tuning choreography, helping individual company members achieve or adding choreography herself. She will be a strong powerful person for Squad members to turn to.

Executive Director - Shelley Hoselton, as always, will be supporting Wes and Amanda achieve their vision for Squad.

Business Manager - Nicole Farrell is happy to continue helping with communications. Her goal is to help Squad leadership, Squad parents, and Squad dancers with whatever they need to reach their goals for Squad.

Class Requirements

Dancers must be enrolled in the following dance classes at Talent Forum:

• ALL LEVELS
  1 company rehearsal class (Forum & Elite Squad 1.75 hours; Jr. Squad Red & Black 1.25 hours)
• ALL LEVELS
  1 class (1 hour) at the appropriate level of hip hop with Wesley Owens
• ALL LEVELS
  1 freestyle class (30 minute) with Wesley Owens

Performance Requirements

Dancers are required to attend the following performances:

  Tap Jam (November - date to be announced)
• ALL LEVELS
  DanceScapes (February or March - date to be announced)
• ALL LEVELS
  Adjudication (tba)
• EFS, FS, & JFSR
  Monsters Dance Convention - April 17-19, 2026
  (This is highly recommended, but not required for Jr. Forum Squad Black members - a $75 subsidy will be given to Jr. Forum Squad Black members who want to attend Monsters. This $75 subsidy is not available for any other use. You must use it for Monsters or lose it. The subsidy will be credited to your Talent Forum account.)
