Lindsey Beebe began her dance training at age 8 in her hometown of Wichita, KS at Wichita Children’s Theatre and Dance Center under Kristine Anderson and Monica Flynn. By age 13 she was performing with Metropolitan Ballet of Wichita, where she worked her way up to Company Soloist. Miss Beebe Continued her training at Oklahoma City University where she studied with Jo Rowan and Robert Reed, and also at Wichita State University where she studied with Nicholas Johnson, Sabrina Vasquez and Denise Celestin. At Wichita State she was given the opportunity to work with internationally known mime/physical theatre company, Alithea Mime Theatre, performing in places such as Taiwan, Poland and the United Nations in New York. Miss Beebe also returned to Metropolitan Ballet of Wichita as an adult and danced various soloist roles in their annual Nutcracker, as well as many original works by Artistic Director Jill Landrith.
Teaching for 16 years, Miss Beebe has had the blessing of working with students from all over the state of Kansas including those at Wichita Children’s Theatre and Dance Center and the Nancy Harvey School of Ballet. She has done extensive free-lance choreography for many Kansas area high schools and organizations including the Heart of America Men’s Chorus and Cabaret Old Town. Since her move to Chicago in 2009 Miss Beebe has had the pleasure of working with Joel Hall Dancers and Center and Lou Conte Dance Studio. She has also had the wonderful opportunity to work with many outstanding Chicagoland area studios and organizations including TranscenDance Studios, Design Dance, Elevations Dance Arts and of course Talent Forum where she is the Director of Forum Starz. Her work has been seen at Dance Chicago and various regional area competitions. Miss Beebe is thrilled to be working Forum 2 this year and cannot wait to continue passing on her love for all that is dance.
