Martin earned his degree in Music, Spanish and Dance from the University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point. There he performed works by Mia Michaels, Billy Siegenfeld, Mary Anthony, and Susan Marshall. He was a guest performer with FJDT in "Gekkoh," choreographed by Eddy Ocampo, which won the Gold Leo Award in the Jazz Dance Choreography Competitive Event at the 2007 Jazz Dance World Congress. Martin spent one season as a member of Giordano II and is now in his second season with Giordano Jazz Dance Chicago. We are very excited to have him expand our Contemporary Jazz program.
